Alex was first elected to Congress in 2014 and re-elected in 2016 and 2018. He is a principled conservative fighting for lower taxes and less government regulations on businesses to create more jobs in America.

Alex believes in the American values of hard work, faith, and freedom that have made our country great. With a proven record of fighting for conservative values, Alex is working with President Donald Trump to defend traditional values, protect the Second Amendment and promote respect for all human life.

The girls peacefully protested the participation of a young boy in a women’s shot put throwing event. The workshop was attended by municipal and county administrators, first responders, and healthcare providers. It provided essential training in budgeting, narrative planning, and building community partnerships. Earlier today, I visited the Wheeling-Ohio County Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency to receive a briefing on the flooding in the northern panhandle. I thanked first responders who are working tirelessly to keep the local community safe and informed on developments related to the rising water levels. Pro forma sessions are held for the purpose of meeting the “three-day rule” in Article I, Section 5 of the U.S. Constitution. The three day rule prohibits either chamber of Congress from not meeting for more than three consecutive calendar days during a congressional session without the approval of the other chamber.
