Congressman Mooney Praises Funding for Yeager Airport
Washington, DC – Congressman Alex Mooney released the follow statements in response to Yeager Airport receiving over $13 million in U.S. Department of Transportation grant funding for runway safety improvements:
“Yeager airport is a critical hub for all of West Virginia and I am pleased that it will received much needed funding for runway safety improvements I have been working to secure these funds since the tragic landslide in 2015. I am proud to have Yeager Airport in my Congressional District and will continue working to ensure it continues to grow and serve all West Virginians , said Rep. Mooney.”
