WASHINGTON – Today, Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced the House of Representatives will be opening a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. This inquiry will be led by Chairman James Comer of the Oversight Committee, Chairman Jim Jordan of the Judiciary Committee, and Chairman Jason Smith of the Ways and Means Committee.
This inquiry comes after whistleblowers have come forward to testify that President Biden was directly involved in Hunter Biden’s corrupt foreign business dealings.
“I fully back Speaker McCarthy’s decision to launch this inquiry. We must determine President Biden’s level of involvement with Hunter Biden’s foreign business schemes. The information that has come out thus far is deeply troubling. I have full faith that Chairmen Comer, Jordan, and Smith will get to the bottom of these allegations,” said Congressman Alex X. Mooney.
