Congressman Alex X. Mooney Announces $780,000 Appalachian Regional Commission Grant for the Town of Clay
Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $780,000 federal grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission to replace two water storage tanks that help serve 126 businesses and 393 households in the Town of Clay. Replacing the outdated, deteriorated tanks will enhance the quality of water while assuring reliable water and pressure.
“This investment will allow the Town of Clay to provide clean and reliable drinking water to their customers. Improving water and sewer infrastructure is critical to the development of Clay County and I will continue to fight in Congress to make sure federal funding is available,” said Congressman Mooney.
