Congressman Mooney Announces $125k Grant for Putnam Wellness Coalition
Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney announced that Putnam Wellness Coalition, under the direction of the Regional Family Resource Center, was awarded a $125,000 U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grant that will continue to allow programming for prevention services that will positively impact the knowledge and behaviors of Putnam County youth.
“These funds will allow Putnam Wellness Coalition to accomplish their mission of opioid education and prevention. Under the leadership of the late Bill O’Dell, this organization has achieved great accomplishments and this new investment will allow their team to build upon those successes,” said Congressman Mooney.
