MARTINSBURG – Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) today announced that he will be hosting a virtual grant workshop to provide information on the Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 3 PM. This one-hour virtual workshop will feature presentations from FEMA staff and the opportunity for discussion about the AFG Program.
“I look forward to hosting this virtual workshop so fire departments from across West Virginia’s Second Congressional District can learn about important FEMA grants and resources. After joining this virtual workshop, I hope our firefighters and first responders, who keep our communities safe each and every day, will be equipped with additional information and resources to apply for federal grants,” said Congressman Alex Mooney.
