WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $17,600 grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development’s Community Facilities Direct Loans and Grants program. This funding will go towards the Roane County Commission’s purchase of a law enforcement vehicle.
“I’m glad the Roane County Commission has been awarded with funding to acquire necessary resources for law enforcement. Specifically, the purchase of a new law enforcement vehicle will help benefit nearly fourteen thousand individuals in Roane County. I will continue to help secure funds that keep our communities safe,” said Congressman Alex Mooney.
