WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $4,900,000 loan and a $3,851,000 grant for Upshur County’s Adrian Public Service District. This funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development’s Water and Waste Disposal Loans and Grants program will extend waterlines to reach new customers in rural communities.
“I’m glad funding has been awarded to improve infrastructure in Upshur County. The funds for this waterline extension project will benefit rural and currently underserved communities. I hope that bolstering critical water service in the region will help incentivize business and residential development and investment,” said Congressman Alex Mooney.
