Congressman Alex X. Mooney Announces Grants for Clay County Fire Department

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced $69,300 in grants from the USDA Rural Development to service a fire truck at Clay County’s Big Otter Volunteer Fire Department. This investment will be used to purchase a cab and chassis for Big Otter Volunteer Fire Department’s existing 1993 model fire truck.

 

“This important investment from the USDA Rural Development will help ensure the safety and security of Clay County residents by allowing the Big Otter Volunteer Fire Department’s vehicle to return to service for emergency calls,” said Congressman Mooney.
