CHARLESTON – Today Congressman Alex Mooney (WV-02) announced $223,410 in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR). This funding was awarded under the Department’s State Offices of Rural Health Program.
“This funding will allow the West Virginia DHHR to continue it’s important work of providing necessary services to West Virginian families,” said Congressman Mooney. “I am happy to see this funding be awarded and will continue working in Congress to ensure West Virginians have the resources available to work, live and raise a family in the Mountain State.”
