Congressman Alex X. Mooney Announces Grant for Upshur County Regional Airport
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $151,198 grant from the Department of Transportation (DOT)’s Federal Aviation Administration for the Buckhannon-Upshur Airport Authority’s Upshur County Regional Airport.
“I’m pleased this Department of Transportation grant will allow for more infrastructure improvements at Upshur County Regional Airport. Funds for this essential project will focus on restoring the runway for increased air travel to our communities,” said Congressman Mooney.
