WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $1,000,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) for the State of West Virginia. This grant funding, through the COPS Anti-Methamphetamine Program (CAMP), will help combat the illegal manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamine.
“The DOJ’s grant award will help West Virginia law enforcement agencies address illegal drug activities. This is important funding for our state, providing our police with the support they need to keep our communities safe,” said Congressman Mooney.
