RAVENSWOOD – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $952,380.95 grant for the Ravenswood Volunteer Fire Department from U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program.
“I’m glad the Ravenswood Volunteer Fire Department received this FEMA grant that will help equip firefighters and first responders with an important vehicle acquisition that will help keep our communities safe. I commend the essential work of our local volunteer firefighters, and I am pleased to have helped secure this grant,” said Congressman Mooney.
