WASHINGTON – Today Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) grant of $5,922,290 for runway rehabilitation at Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia.
“I am happy to announce this grant for Yeager Airport. Since the tragic landslide in 2015, it has been critical to improve the facilities and infrastructure at Yeager to allow them to continue providing essential transportation services to West Virginians,” said Congressman Mooney. “I will continue working in Congress to ensure that facilities like Yeager Airport have the resources they need to grow and prosper.”
