Congressman Alex X. Mooney Announces $200,000 for Rural Opioid Response in Morgan County
Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney announced a Health Resources Services Administration $200,000 grant has been awarded to the Morgan County Partnership based in Berkeley Springs. This grant will focus on combatting the opioid crisis and offering support for substance abuse recovery efforts.
“I met with representatives of the Morgan County Partnership and heard firsthand how these funds will help them accomplish their mission of creating a safe, healthy, and drug-free community. I look forward to seeing the positive impact this funding will have on Berkeley Springs and surrounding areas,” said Congressman Mooney.
