Congressman Alex Mooney Announces Public Housing Grants for West Virginia’s Second Congressional District
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced $568,806 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grants from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act Admin Fee Regular and Mainstream Voucher Program for West Virginia’s Second Congressional District. These funds are being allocated based on the same formula used for the regular, annual appropriation for these programs.
“I’m pleased these HUD grants will help maintain the health and safety of our public housing community with aid to prevent, prepare and respond to the coronavirus pandemic,” said Congressman Mooney.
