Congressman Alex Mooney Announces Grant to Target Public Health and Housing Needs during COVID-19
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $5,750,278 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for the state of West Virginia from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. This is the second tranche of CDBG CARES Act funding to target public health, coronavirus, and housing and economic disruption needs.
“I’m pleased this CDBG HUD grant will help maintain the health and safety of our communities with aid to prevent, prepare for and respond to the coronavirus pandemic,” said Congressman Mooney.
