Congressman Alex Mooney Announces Grant for Jackson County Airport
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $20,000 grant for Jackson County from the Department of Transportation (DOT)’s Federal Aviation Administration. These economic relief grants are being funded as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
“I’m pleased this Department of Transportation grant will be going to Jackson County Airport. This economic relief funding provided by the CARES Act will provide the airport with essential aid for continued air travel during the coronavirus pandemic,” said Congressman Mooney.
