Congressman Alex Mooney Announces DOJ Resources for State and Local Law Enforcement

WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $4,410,710 U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) grant for the West Virginia Division of Administrative Services. Pursuant to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) will provide aid to states and local governments to prevent, prepare for and respond to the coronavirus.
 
“I’m pleased this DOJ aid will help equip our state and local law enforcement with the resources necessary to combat the coronavirus. This funding will help keep our communities safe and healthy during this time,” said Congressman Mooney.
