MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Blue Ridge Community and Technical College recently was awarded a $1.1 million Job Corps Scholars grant by the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Rep. Alex X. Mooney announced Monday.
The $1,186,900 in funding is for eligible at-risk students at the college, Mooney said in a news release.
“I’m glad this (labor department) grant will help counsel, instruct and encourage students at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College to ready them for workforce participation and job opportunities,” Mooney said.
