WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney announced a $1,156,000 grant to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. This grant will assist and provide funding to the State of West Virginia (WV) to carry out its water pollution control program to maintain, protect, and improve the water quality of its rivers, lakes, streams, groundwater, and other water bodies.
“I am pleased to share the arrival of funding for the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. This grant will help maintain our bodies of water throughout the great state of West Virginia and help protect them from pollution,” said Congressman Mooney. “This is great progress to assist our local authorities in protecting our waterways and keeping them clean.”
