Congressman Alex X. Mooney Announces Aviation Grants for West Virginia
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced $4,840,956 in grants from the Department of Transportation (DOT)’s Federal Aviation Administration. These economic relief grants are being funded as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and will go to West Virginia’s Yeager Airport and Eastern WV Regional Airport.
“I’m pleased Department of Transportation grants will be going to West Virginia’s Yeager Airport and Eastern WV Regional Airport. These economic relief funds provided by the CARES Act will provide our airports with essential aid for continued air travel during the coronavirus pandemic,” said Congressman Mooney.
