Congressman Alex X. Mooney Announces Grant Funding for Yeager Airport
Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney announced a $5,052,607 federal Department of Transportation grant to Yeager Airport to make important improvements to the runway safety area.
“Yeager Airport is a critical hub for all of West Virginia and I am pleased that it will receive much needed funding for runway safety improvements. I have been working to secure these funds since the tragic landslide in 2015. I am proud to have Yeager Airport in my Congressional District and will continue working to ensure it continues to grow and serve all West Virginians,” said Congressman Mooney.
