Rep. Mooney Votes NO on $1.2 Trillion Liberal Spending Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a $1.2 trillion partial government spending resolution. Rep. Alex X. Mooney voted NO on the spending package that continues to recklessly fund the government at obscene spending levels. The bill funds a host of President Joe Biden’s liberal priorities.

“Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats are salivating to support this $1.2 trillion spending bill. President Joe Biden will rubber stamp it as it sets spending levels higher than Nancy Pelosi established. The countless conservative policy concessions prove this is nothing more than another Swamp spending bill that should be rejected. Republicans should be fighting—not capitulating to a woke and weaponized government. House Republicans passed the strongest border bill in history in H.R. 2. The Senate needs to take action and immediately pass H.R. 2 to secure our southern border,” said Congressman Alex X. Mooney.
