WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. House representative in West Virginia’s 2nd District says life begins at conception.
“I just believe it’s a scientific fact. It’s not simply a religious fact or religious belief, I believe it’s a scientific fact and we should define when life begins,” Congressman Alex Mooney (R-W.Va.) said.
Members of West Virginia’s congressional delegation didn’t mince words when responding to President Barack Obama’s budget plans.
MARTINSBURG - U.S. Rep. Alex Mooney, R-W.Va., has been appointed to two subcommittees of the House of Representatives' Natural Resources Committee: Energy and Mineral Resources, and Oversight and Investigations.
The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee is newly formed to oversee the regulatory agencies of the executive branch, according to a news release from Mooney's office.
